Making a Light Orb inspired from dark series

I am working on a Light orb that turns on using swipe of hand inspired from the series Dark. I plan to use Raspberry pi PICO interfacing IR sensors to sense the swipe.
These are the models we created for light orbs the handle is yet to be finished.
Share your suggestion if you have any alternative idea to turn the Light orb on?
